Siddhika Gamare Receives 2026 CSGS Master’s Thesis Award

Congratulations to Siddhika Gamare for earning the highly competitive 2026 CSGS Master’s Thesis Award in the Life Sciences for her thesis titled, “CY1B1-Mediated Cigarette Smoke Exposure-Induced Lipid Accumulation in Alveolar Type 2 Cells.” She will receive her award at the upcoming 2026 Conference of Southern Graduate Schools (CSGS) Annual Meeting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Siddhika received her Master of Science in Clinical & Experimental Therapeutics from UGA in May 2025 where her major professor was Dr. Duo Zhang. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in the Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy Ph.D. program at the UGA College of Pharmacy’s extended Augusta campus.
