All new graduate students are required to complete a GradFIRST seminar by the end of their first year, unless they are enrolled in an exempt program. New graduate students that did not take a GradFIRST seminar in the fall must register for a spring session. More details, including a list of seminars and registration instructions, will be available at gradfirst.uga.edu.
New students should consult with their program’s graduate coordinator prior to registering if they have questions and to confirm their program’s requirements. Please note that students in some programs will be directed to a specific section, and students in a small number of graduate programs are exempt from GradFIRST.
