The College of Public Health offers a Master in Public Health (MPH) with five concentrations areas. As an extension of the MPH degree at the masters level, the college also offers a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH), which is a professional doctoral degree for practitioners working in the field of public health. The Master of Public Health (MPH) is the most widely recognized professional credential for leadership in public health. The degree program at The University of Georgia was developed to train individuals who can provide service and leadership in public health in the state of Georgia, the nation, and the world. The 2-year program is designed for professionals who wish to expand their skills, knowledge and expertise, and for students who wish to build a career in public health. The program is 45 hours total, including an internship and capstone project.
